Those, who are familiar with KSS’s motorcycles will find this one being absolutely faithful to their very recognizable way of customization. Kev and his team always embody “strong” memorable features into a design and skillfully play with colors, achieving amazing final results (see the build, previously mentioned on BikeVX – BMW R80RT “Volar”).
Therefore, it’s natural that Azure has also been reworked, assembled and painted (powder coated) according to Kevils style. Yet, the guys implementing bike’s owner’s ideas and using simple, but obviously stunning color scheme, managed to build a really unique one of a kind motorcycle.
Kev’s workshop customized this BMW R80 for Uzoma from Milan, Italy, who had many wishes what the bike should look like to fullfill his “café racer” dream. No doubt, the guy is lucky and Azure made him happy and even inspired his friend to also get one.
Thinking the design through, the guys decided to go with retro muscle cars colors (Ac Cobra and Mustangs): electric blue for the frame to match the stripping on the tank and the seat, black and satin black for other parts and details.
For easier handling on Milan’s streets KSS mounted a wide drag handlebars with tiny round bar-end mirrors. The guys tidied everything around the 800cc BMW motor and freed up space behind it by relocating a gel battery under the black leather trimmed seat with a cafe racer tail, adorned with the number “55”.
BMW R80 Azure comes with RAASK rearsets and a surefoot side stand. The instrumentation is limited by a single Kevils style speedo, a little modest tail-light is carefully built in the tail. The bike turned out an outstanding café racer, in fact, one of the best I’ve ever seen.
