In 2011 Radical Ducati built their 9 ½ bike out of Ducati Monster 900. The bike turned out great, take a look here. Two years later, this same bike inspires another build done by Mario from Holland – Ducati Monster “Radicallize“. With the inspiration drawn from the 9 ½, some bits provided by Radical Ducati team and thorough work, Mario has managed to sculpture a real aggressive streetfighter style bike.
Donor here is M900 with a modified frame. “The shape was very much inspired by the 9½”, says Mario and the color scheme is from the 70’s Mike Hailwood racers. Radical cafe racers seat was the best option for that build and it suits the bike perfectly. Ducati 999 fuel tank was mounted on the frame.Mario used laser exhaust system and routed pipes by himself. For the intake, he fitted the K&N air filters. The bike comes with 748R brake calipers and master cylinder. Triumph Daytona clip-ons, Koso Speedo, Bi-Xenon headlight were mounted up front. The rear wheel comes from Ducati 916.The subframe was customized by Mario. He also designed lots of details by himself and had them fabricated by friends. “Biggelaar performance and tuning” took care of the final touches – tunning works.
