Craig Jones from Wolvey (UK) and his friend Briggo are the creators of this magnificant old school style Yamaha XS650. I would guess that the build was inspired by one of the old Royal Enfield models, although this bobber looks a bit different than a classic bike.
The bike has undergone a complete rebuild and if you remember what the strock XS650 looks like you can see how much has been changed. The skeleton of the bike – the frame, was fabricated from scratch. The guys aslo replaced or redesigned practically every part of this Japanese bike.
The engine got deep black coating and contrasting Mikuni carbs. The rear fender is minimized and the front one, as you can see, isn’t even there. Craig mentioned on Facebook that the headlamp was from some old bike but reworked to host the accessories.
Everything was neatly made and fitted. The final result is truely impressive.
The bike was sold on Ebay for more than £7600.
