Yamaha SR400 Gentelman’s blue by AN-BU

Yamaha SR400 profileMeet another Yamaha bike. Today I introduce you to SR400, customized by AN-BU Japanese workshop. Unlike Yamaha XJR1200 that was featured earlier, this one is based around the original frame and the bodywork isn’t that changed and still retains a lot from the donor.

It’s safe to say that this creative custom Type 3 rocket fairing has greatly elongated the front end, thereby making the bike look “ready to surge” right away. I bet, it suits her even more, when she hits the road.

Yamaha SR400 front endA smaller head-light was fitted underneath the fairing and has been moved a few inches forward. AN-BU got rid of side panels, losing needless weight and revealing K&N filter. Along with the intake, the exhaust system has also been slightly modified and customized by using AN-BU’s Type 1 muffler and wrapping the pipe with a beige thermal wrap.
